New Delhi (ABC
Live India): The Day 265 Report of COVID-19: Today was the 265 day of India’s
Fight against Coronavirus: ABC Research Report.
As per the
Ministry of Health and Family welfare till 8 AM of 13/12/2020, there are 352586
active cases, 9388159 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 143355 persons
lost their lives in India till 8 AM of 13/12/2020.
On the testing of
the capacity of India, the ICMR in its daily report on 14/12/2020 that a total
of 15,45,66,990 have been conducted in India till 9 AM of 14/12/2020. Further,
the ICMR reported that 8,55,157 new samples were taken during the
last 24 hours.

1. The
Prime Minister's Office
stated that Prime Minister

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued Updates on COVID-19

Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare claimed that India has
crossed a landmark milestone in its eHealth journey. eSanjeevani telemedicine
service of the Health Ministry has crossed 1 million (10 lakh)
teleconsultations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

5. The
Ministry of Finance stated that The Ministry of
Finance has released the 7th weekly installment of Rs.6,000 crore to the States
to meet the GST compensation shortfall. Out of this, an amount of Rs.5,516.60
crore has been released to 23 States and an amount of Rs.483.40 crore has been released
to the 3 Union Territories (UT) with Legislative Assembly (Delhi, Jammu &
Kashmir & Puducherry) who are members of the GST Council? The remaining 5
States, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Sikkim do not have a
gap in revenue on account of GST implementation.

Index Numbers on-base 2012=100 for Rural, Urban and Combined for the Month of
November 2020
